Use the Curriculum view tool to find the right films and learning materials for your curriculum.
Twig’s award-winning resources use world-class film footage to engage and inspire students.
Whether tracking tarantulas in the rainforest or chasing storms in Tornado Alley, Twig films are guaranteed to captivate your class and relate classroom learning to the real world.
Twig films can be used in a variety of different ways – as an introduction to a new topic, to illustrate the topic as you teach it, as reinforcement or for revision. You can ask pupils to log in to the Twig website at home and watch a film in advance of a class so that they arrive for a lesson ready to talk about what they have learnt.
Twig allows students to learn at their own pace. You can ask different pupils to notice different aspects of a film. Those who have found a topic hard can watch the film again (and always love doing so) while others can use Twig’s unique Mindmap and the topic extension questions to explore further and extend their knowledge.
The onscreen key words, closed captions and downloadable transcripts make Twig films accessible to students with additional support needs or those whose second language is English.
Twig's outstanding educational content has won numerous industry awards and is available in more than 50 countries and 14 languages.
